June 6 - Wrongful Death Suit Filed Against SoCal Edison Over Eaton Fire Losses

The family of two Altadena residents who died after losing their home in the Eaton Fire has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Southern California Edison, alleging the utility’s negligence and aging infrastructure sparked the fire. Although the victims initially survived the blaze, the trauma and disruption to their care reportedly led to a decline in their health and their deaths just weeks apart. The suit is one of several recently filed by victims seeking justice for losses tied to the fire’s devastating impact on vulnerable residents.
