August 13 - Eaton Fire Cases Move Toward Trial and Plaintiffs Must Act to Protect Their Claims

California Fire Victims Law Center Co-Founders Kiley Grombacher and Bryan Aylstock attended a hearing on the Eaton Fire cases where the judge signals strong progress toward trial, a positive step for plaintiffs seeking justice. They are stressing an urgent reminder: plaintiffs must complete and submit their Plaintiff Fact Sheets to their attorneys promptly. Missing or deficient fact sheets risk dismissal of claims, which benefits Southern California Edison, not victims. Kiley and Bryan are also urging plaintiffs to maintain direct communication with their attorneys, not just staff or automated systems, to ensure their case is properly represented and valued.
