September 22 - FAIR Plan Now Sole Defendant in Smoke Damage Lawsuits

Twelve insurers have been dismissed from lawsuits over smoke damage claims from the Eaton Canyon and Palisades wildfires, leaving the California FAIR Plan as the only remaining defendant. Plaintiffs are now pushing to move the cases forward quickly, including prioritizing the testimony of an elderly claimant.
